Investigating the effects of flipped vocabulary learning via an online dictionary on EFL learners' listening comprehension

Abstract This study investigated the impact of flipped vocabulary learning on listening achievement EFL learners. The participants included 60 English language learners selected based their performance Michigan Test Language Proficiency and randomly assigned to experimental control groups. group was taught learning, while students in received no such instruction. For treatment group, teacher unknown new text from TACTICS textbook using an online dictionary flip classroom. offered encouraged check out words, synonyms, antonyms become more familiar with words.
